I was looking for a new burger to do to kick off the Spring grilling season. One of the things I like about my MASTERING THE GRILL
cookbook is that it takes a fresh approach to how to cook certain items. In the case of burgers they like to add the toppings to the inside to help them moisten and flavor the burger from the inside. This burger used freshly grated horseradish & cheddar cheese, diced apple, and apple juice mixed with the meat to make a juicy and unique tasting burger.
