This was one of two different burger I made for my mother’s birthday. I wanted to make this day special so I made everything from scratch, starting with the HAMBURGER ROLLS, SOUTHWEST BURGERS, THREE CHEESE POTATOES and ending with the APRICOT PIE A LA MODE SUNDAE dessert. The meatball burgers used the same ingredients as a typical Italian meatball as you will see below. The patties get topped with shredded mozzarella cheese during their last two minutes on the grill. Once off the grill, the burgers get topped with some heated marinara sauce. Both burger types I made this day were big hits. This one was like a meatball sandwich in hamburger form and is a keeper.
