I was making my own Steak Quesadillas - see SPICY STEAK QUESADILLAS and I wanted only the best side dishes for it. No store bought salsa & guacamole need apply. This salsa recipe was courtesy of Alton Brown of Food TV and the link at the top right will take you to it. The salsa was medium spicy with roasted jalapeno, minced jalapeno & dried ancho chilies all in use. There is quite a bit of time spent chopping here, but the investment in time is paid back with a salsa far superior to what you’ll get at the supermarket
