This pizza was one of three types I made for my dad’s birthday, the others being a PEPPERONI, PEPPER & ONION
and a GRILLED MEATLOVER'S PIZZA.
The toppings were chosen by the guests. The dough recipe I used GRILLED PIZZA DOUGH - FAST
, the crushed tomato sauce recipe and grilling method were courtesy of pizza on the grill. For the cheese I used a grated parmesan cheese, and shredded mozzarella and Monterrey jack. The toppings were slices of imported ham diced and fresh pineapple sliced to 1/4” thick grilled and diced.The pizza was wonderful, the grilled fresh pineapple was far better than something out of a can and you can’t go wrong with homemade sauce & dough.
