Grilled Meat Lovers Pizza
The chunky tomato basil sauce used seeded & quartered Roma tomatoes, fresh basil, garlic, salt, pepper & tomato paste
The finished sauce was more like a paste than a sauce & was very spicy. It is set aside for an hour to deepen the flavor
When making multiple types of pizzas in one cook, I pre-measure the toppings & put them on their own trays.
The chunky tomato sauce is intended to go on top of the cheese. So the 3 cheeses went down first then the sauce.
The 4 meats pepperoni, ham, Italian sausage & bacon strips topped off the pizza. It is time to return to the grill.
This pizza took 11 minutes to finish indirectly due to the amount of toppings
This pizza was very tangy & tasty. It was my pick of the 3 types I made this day
