This recipe from Pizza on the Grill is like a designer version of the classic Hawaiian Pizza. It uses pancetta in place of the ham and the pineapples get grilled before cooking the pizza. In addition the pizza uses onion marmalade, grilled scallions, toasted coconuts, & red pepper flakes. The cheese is a French Camembert & there is no red sauce. While this pizza is related to the Hawaiian it is quite different. I won’t say this version is better, just different and quite excellent.
