This recipe was made to be part of the SMOKED PORK CHOPS I was making this day. Apples and pork are just made for each other. Peppers, onion, ginger & garlic are sauteed after which brown sugar, vinegar, mustard seeds, allspice & cayenne are added. The mixture is simmered and reduced. Meanwhile the apples are browned and are added to the reduced veggie mixture when it is done. The chutney had great flavor and was a perfect match for the smoked pork chops. This chutney would be a great companion to a great many dishes and is relatively quick & easy to make
