Info
I made this chili from the Food.com website to go along with the HAMBURGEUSA ESTILO MONTEREY recipe I was making. The meat was 1” cubes of beef cut from an eye of the round roast. They were coated with a chili powder & chipotle chili powder blend & skewered. They were grilled using medium high heat along with some Anaheim & jalapeno chili peppers. The peppers had their skin removed and then were finely diced. The beef and peppers were combined with sauteed onions and garlic, plus 3 types of beans, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, & the reserved rub from the beef cubes. The chili was quite spicy and very flavorful and complex. While I have a long ways to go in my exploration of chili, this is the best chili I have made to date.
