Info
I received a surprise gift of a couple racks of lamb. I decided to use to try out a new recipe from WEBER'S WAY TO GRILL called ORANGE-POMEGRANATE RACK OF LAMB. I needed a side dish and decided to try this grilled green beans recipe for the first time too. I was expecting a pleasant weekday supper, but instead these two dishes & some brown rice ended up being the best meal I’ve ever made on the grill to this date. The beans were tossed in a lemon oil. The oil was made by boiling some EVOO which had lemon peel, thin sliced garlic & red pepper flakes added. After boiling the oil was set aside for an hour to absorb the flavor. After that the lemon peel & garlic were removed and the oil was used to toss the green beans in. The green beans were direct grilled over medium heat using a grill grid to keep them from slipping through the grates. They were great, this is the best way I have had green beans so far.
